Leisure Pools franchise at a glance

Leisure Pools’ 2026 FDD, issued 7 April 2026, makes no financial performance representation in Item 19, so it gives no sales or profit figure. A Leisure Pools elite dealership costs $150,900 to $287,000 to open, according to the FDD, and $100,000 of that is the Initial License Fee.

  • Leisure Pools charges no royalty based on sales and has no advertising fund; the recurring fee is a Monthly Brand Support Fee of $2,500, or $30,000 a year*.
  • Leisure Pools dealers must buy pools, spas, covers and related products from the franchisor’s affiliate, Explore Industries USA, Inc., which may earn a reasonable profit on those sales.
  • A Leisure Pools dealer keeps the full Protected Territory only by meeting yearly targets for purchase orders, pool covers, customer complaints and marketing spend; missing them allows termination or a cut of up to 75% of the territory.
  • Leisure Pools had 15 elite dealerships in the United States at December 31, 2025, all opened during 2025, and none company-owned.
  • Leisure Pools reports 4 dealer agreements signed but not opened and 21 projected new dealerships for the next fiscal year.

These figures come from Leisure Pools's 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document, as the brand reported them, and were read by Averan Advisors. The $30,000 a year is an Averan calculation: the $2,500 monthly fee times 12.

  1. Item 19 contains no financial performance representation. The franchisor states that it does not make representations about future or past financial performance and does not authorize its staff to make any. A buyer of an existing dealership may be given that dealership’s actual records.
  2. There is no percentage royalty and no advertising fund. The recurring fee is the Monthly Brand Support Fee of $2,500, which is $30,000 a year*. The franchisor may raise it once each calendar year by no more than the Consumer Price Index plus 10%.
  3. The $100,000 Initial License Fee is 66.3%* of the low-end cost to open. At the high end of $287,000 it is 34.8%*. The franchisor currently offers a discount of $1,000 for each pool a dealer bought from its affiliates and installed, and $500 for each pool from a top competitor, in the last three years.
  4. Item 8 puts purchases from the franchisor and its affiliates at about 40% to 60% of ongoing operating costs. Pools, spas, covers and related products are available only from the affiliate Explore Industries USA, Inc., which collected $3,706,187 from the sale of Products to Elite Dealers in 2025. Standard terms require payment in full before delivery.
  5. Elite dealerships went from 0 to 15 during 2025. No dealership was terminated, not renewed, reacquired or closed in 2023 to 2025. Four dealer agreements were signed but not opened at the start of 2026, and 21 new dealerships are projected for the next fiscal year.

Run your own numbers.

The Franchise Numbers Check runs the same checks on your own numbers. It scores where you stand and compares you with Item 19 of your brand’s FDD. It works out what one location earns and spends, and builds a 13-week cash forecast. It also checks whether you are ready to open another one. It is free and it runs in your browser.

Where these figures come from

Every figure here comes from Explore Industries Elite USA, Inc.’s 2026 FDD and is unaudited by us. We are unaffiliated with the brand. Calculations of our own are labeled where they appear. The figures describe past performance at other businesses and are not a projection of yours. This page is an educational summary. It is not an offer to sell a franchise, and it is not financial, legal or tax advice. Leisure Pools is a trademark of its owner. How Averan reads a Franchise Disclosure Document.

How Averan works with Leisure Pools franchise owners

Everything above came out of a filing. Doing it on your own numbers means the books have to produce the same lines: sales, wages, occupancy, fees and what is left, by location, every month. That is the work.

  1. The call takes thirty minutesYou describe the business and where the numbers are letting you down. We give you an expert view of your situation, and what we would start with. There is no pitch deck.
  2. We look at the fileYou give us read access to the books as they are. We come back with what is wrong, what it will take to fix, and whether the answer is bookkeeping, controller work, or something else.
  3. We send a written scope and a priceIt lists what we do each month, what you get, the date it lands and the fee. We agree it before anything starts, and it does not change unless you agree.
  4. We take over the books and close the first monthWe set up access and systems and enter the opening balances. The first close lands on the date in the scope, and every one after it does too.
