The average Access Garage Door & More location open at least one year reported $458,708 of gross sales in 2025, and the median reported $318,389. Two of the 10 locations, or 20%, reached the average. The highest reported $1,552,164 and the lowest $73,909, a spread of 21.0 times*.
Item 19 says 13 franchises were open one year or more in 2025, and the 2025 table lists 10. The FDD does not name the three that are left out. Two franchisees that left the system in 2024 are also left out of the 2024 figures.
The franchisor’s affiliate operates one territory in Chattanooga, Tennessee and surrounding areas. It reported $5,960,887 in 2025, $6,287,701 in 2024 and $3,250,156 in 2020. The affiliate pays the 1% brand fund but no royalty.

Its 2024 tables state that cost of goods does not include labor.
Gross revenue is counted on an accrual basis. The franchise agreement definition includes sales on credit regardless of collection and the retail value of discounted or free products and services. Royalties and the brand fund are charged on that base.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Royalty | 5% / $500 a month (months 1–12); 5.5% / $1,000 (months 13–24); 6% / $2,000 (month 25 on), the greater of the two | $27,522 (6%) | $24,000 (minimum) | $11,559 (5%) |
| Brand fund | 1% of gross revenues, may rise to 3% | $4,587 | $3,184 | $2,312 |
| Local advertising | At least $1,500 a month, spent locally | $18,000 | $18,000 | $18,000 |
| Operations software | $534 a month (November 2025 to October 2026), to a designated vendor | $6,408 | $6,408 | $6,408 |
| Paid to the brand (royalty and brand fund), and share of sales | $32,110 (7.00%) | $27,184 (8.54%) | $13,871 (6.00%) |
Rates as printed in Item 6. Averan applied the month 25 terms to the average and the median, and the months 1–12 terms to the first-year average. Item 19 does not give each location’s royalty month.
The royalty is the greater of a percentage of gross revenues and a monthly minimum, and both step up over the first two years. It is 5% or $500 a month in months 1 to 12, 5.5% or $1,000 in months 13 to 24, and 6% or $2,000 from month 25. Royalty starts once the owner completes initial training, which must happen within 60 days of signing.
From month 25, the $2,000 minimum applies to any location below $400,000 a year*. At the 2025 median of $318,389, 6% would be $19,103*, so the $24,000 minimum applies.
The brand fund is 1% of gross revenues and may be raised to 3% on 90 days’ notice. At 3% the fund would cost a further $9,174* a year at the 2025 average.
Other charges are set by event. They include additional training at up to $500 per person per day, website work at $200 to $250 an hour after one free hour a month, a transfer fee of $2,500 or $10,000, and audit costs if gross revenues are understated by 2% or more. There is no renewal fee.
If the agreement is terminated early, the owner may owe liquidated damages. The FDD sets them at the average monthly royalty and brand fund payments of the past 12 months, for the rest of the term or two years, whichever comes first.

The estimate runs from $69,095 to $187,055, including the $30,000 initial franchise fee. The low end assumes a home-based business using an existing vehicle. The high end assumes a 1,000 square foot industrial or retail space and a $75,000 pickup truck.
The vehicle is the largest single difference between the low and high estimates. It ranges from $0, using an existing vehicle that meets the brand’s standards, to $75,000.
Additional franchises cost $15,000 each. Item 5 also lists a 20% discount on the initial fee for qualifying veterans and a $5,000 option fee credited against the fee.
The franchisor does not offer financing. Item 7 states that the working capital line covers the first three months, and that the franchisor cannot estimate when an owner will reach positive cash flow.
