As printed in Item 19, Tables 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B. A business is in the flat-glass table if at least 25% of its 2025 Gross Sales came from Home and Business jobs, and in the auto-glass table if at least 25% came from auto jobs; a business can be in both. Each figure counts that book’s sales only. Item 19 also prints medians; this page leaves them out because they do not fit the quartile tables, as set out under Spread of results.
The 112 flat-glass businesses averaged $969,663 of flat-glass Gross Sales in 2025, and the 80 auto-glass businesses averaged $677,657 of auto-glass Gross Sales. In flat glass, 33 of 112 reached the average; in auto glass, 28 of 80 did.
The figures cover 142 of the 172 businesses open at the end of 2025. Item 19 leaves out 8 businesses that opened during 2025, 22 that did not fully report job counts or sales each month, and 7 that closed or did not renew during 2025. All 172 were franchised.
Most businesses hold both options. At the end of 2025, 127 businesses operated under both options, 29 under the Auto Option alone and 16 under the Home and Business Option alone. Of the 142 reporting, 107 held both. Item 19 states that a new franchisee receives one option, unless renewing or buying an existing business that holds both.
Item 19 reports Gross Sales and no cost or profit figures. Gross Sales exclude sales tax and refunds or discounts the franchisor authorizes. Franchisees report them through the franchisor’s software and are not required to follow generally accepted accounting principles.

As printed in Item 19. Table 3A is headed “2024” but covers January 1 to December 31, 2025. The four quartile averages combine to each book’s printed average*. The printed medians do not fit these ranges: the overall flat-glass median of $819,448 is above the second quartile’s lowest figure of $566,482, and the second-quartile flat-glass median of $1,066,113 is above that quartile’s highest figure of $1,050,632.
The top flat-glass quartile averaged $2,484,171 and the bottom quartile $193,150. That is 12.9 times*. Half of the top quartile, 14 of 28, were at or above the quartile average.
The top auto-glass quartile averaged $1,541,150 and the bottom quartile $173,552. That is 8.9 times*. In the bottom auto quartile, 5 of 20 were at or above the quartile average.
Per-job averages also vary by business. Ranked by average sale per job, the top 10% of flat-glass businesses averaged $1,397 a job and the bottom 10% averaged $424, 3.3 times*. In auto glass the top 10% averaged $587 and the bottom 10% $288, 2.0 times*.
The highest single per-job average was 8.4 times the lowest in flat glass and 2.6 times in auto glass*. Flat-glass businesses ran from $275 to $2,303 a job and auto-glass businesses from $266 to $689. Item 19 does not state how long the businesses in each quartile had been open.

| Bottom 10% | 11 | $424 | 8 | $288 |
| All | 112 | $785 | 80 | $418 |
As printed in Item 19. Each figure is the average of the businesses’ own average sale per job in that group. The medians printed in Tables 1A and 1B are left out for the same reason as in the quartile table: several sit above their group’s highest figure.
A flat-glass job averaged $785 and an auto-glass job $418 in 2025. The four flat-glass quartile figures average to $785* and the four auto-glass figures to $418*.
The quartiles here are not the same businesses as in the annual sales table. Tables 1A and 1B rank businesses by average sale per job, and Tables 3A and 3B rank them by annual sales. Item 19 does not link the two rankings.
Auto Option franchisees pay for insurance transaction links. Item 11 lists per-transaction charges of $0.45 for Safelite, Gerber and TeleGlass National EDI and $1.25 for Lynx EDI, plus $187.50 a month per NAGS license.

| Total | $74,008 (7.63%)* | $53,567 (7.90%)* |
Rates from Item 6. Averan’s dollars spread each average evenly over 52 weeks: $18,647 a week in flat glass* and $13,032 in auto glass*, both in the 5% band of their option’s scale. The call center line uses the lowest monthly fee and no booked appointments. Local marketing group contributions of up to 3% of Gross Sales, ServiceTitan, QuickBooks Online and the Auto Option’s insurance transaction charges are not included.
The license fee rate depends on weekly Gross Sales. Under the Home and Business Option it is 7% below $9,000 a week, 6% from $9,000, 5% from $15,000 and 4% from $30,000. Under the Auto Option it is 7% below $5,000 a week, 6% from $5,000, 5% from $10,000 and 4% from $20,000.
A minimum weekly license fee applies from week 40. It depends on territory population and tenure: under 150,000 people it is $100, then $200, then $300 from week 145; for 150,001 to 400,000 it is $200, then $300, then $400. The two larger population bands, with minimums up to $900, are not available to new franchisees. Item 6 describes the minimum as $100 to $700 in its fee chart.
At $400 a week the minimum comes to $20,800 a year*. That is more than 7% of any annual Gross Sales below $297,143*. At $300 a week, $15,600 a year*, the point is $222,857*.
Local marketing is required on top of the MAP fee. A franchisee must spend $30,000 on local marketing in the first 12 months and $40,000 in months 13 to 24. After that the franchisor may require the greater of $20,000 or 6% of the previous year’s Gross Sales. If a local marketing group is formed, its contribution of up to 3% of Gross Sales counts toward that spending.
New construction projects over $15,000 carry lower rates. Under the Home and Business Option the license fee on them is 2½% and the MAP fee ½%. Roll-ins of an existing business also have their own rates for a set period.

As printed in Item 7, reordered by the high estimate. Totals exclude any fee for territory above 300,000 population. The additional funds line is labeled three months in the table, and its note describes a six-month period from opening.
A Glass Doctor franchise costs $154,650 to $311,850 under the Home and Business Option and $157,150 to $326,850 under the Auto Option. The cover page states that $63,396.50 of this is paid to the franchisor and its affiliate.
The initial franchise fee is $59,900 for a territory of up to 300,000 people. Additional territory costs $200 per 1,000 people, and a territory generally does not exceed 400,000, which would make the fee $79,900*. Fees paid in 2025 averaged about $64,502 and ranged from $47,920 to $135,068.
The low estimates assume the franchisee already owns a similar business. Item 7 states that the low equipment figure assumes much of the equipment is already owned, and the low vehicle figure covers applying the marks to an existing vehicle. Discounts are offered for roll-ins of an existing business, veterans, existing franchisees and rural territories.
The business needs premises with a customer waiting area. Item 7 states a franchise location must be 1,200 to 4,500 square feet, and the typical Glass Doctor business has 3,000 square feet. A franchisee must open within 6 months of signing.

Averan sums of the three Item 20 tables (both options, Auto Option, Home and Business Option). There were no company-owned outlets in any year. Item 20 counts an outlet as opened when a new franchisee buys a business and the previous owner’s agreement is terminated.
Glass Doctor ended 2025 with 172 franchised businesses, up one from 171. Eight opened in 2025, and 2 were terminated, 2 not renewed and 3 ceased operations.
Businesses holding both options fell from 144 at the start of 2023 to 127 at the end of 2025. That is 17 fewer, or 11.8%*. Item 20 explains that every franchise granted before April 1, 2021 held both options.
Single-option businesses grew over the same years. Auto Option businesses went from 8 to 29 and Home and Business Option businesses from 10 to 16.
Ten franchise agreements were signed but not open at the end of 2025*. One was for both options, five for the Auto Option and four for the Home and Business Option. An affiliate, Glass Operating LLC, runs glass businesses in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Vermont under a license; Item 20 does not count them as company-owned outlets.
