  1. The first-year fee reduction and the first-year advertising requirement add to the same total. In the first year after opening, royalty and Brand Fund come to 5.5%* and required local advertising is 6%. From the second year they come to 8.5%* and local advertising is 3%. Both years total 11.5% of gross revenue*.
  2. Revenue is higher among the stores open longer. The five 2023 stores averaged $1,316,201*, the nine 2024 stores $747,642* and the three 2025 stores $551,421*. The 2023 average is 2.4 times the 2025 average*. Item 19 does not show any one store’s results over time.
  3. 7 of the 18 franchised stores billed more than the average. That is 38.9%*. The highest store, St Paul MN, billed $1,811,958 and the lowest, Richmond TX, billed $427,490.
  4. The three predecessor and affiliate stores are listed apart from the franchised stores. Woodbury MN, open since 2012, billed $2,879,216, 3.3 times the franchised average*. Arden Hills MN billed $1,308,334 and St. Cloud MN $692,414. Stores run by the franchisor and its affiliates do not contribute to the Brand Fund.
  5. 23 franchise agreements were signed but not open at the end of 2025. That compares with 20 franchised stores open at that date. Florida holds 8 of the 23. Item 20 projects 4 new franchised stores and 1 company-owned store in 2026.

Run your own numbers.

The Franchise Numbers Check runs the same checks on your own numbers. It scores where you stand and compares you with Item 19 of your brand’s FDD. It works out what one location earns and spends, and builds a 13-week cash forecast. It also checks whether you are ready to open another one. It is free and it runs in your browser.

Where these figures come from

Every figure here comes from Pet Evolution Franchising LLC’s 2026 FDD and is unaudited by us. We are unaffiliated with the brand. Calculations of our own are labeled where they appear. The figures describe past performance at other businesses and are not a projection of yours. This page is an educational summary. It is not an offer to sell a franchise, and it is not financial, legal or tax advice. Pet Evolution is a trademark of its owner. How Averan reads a Franchise Disclosure Document.

How Averan works with Pet Evolution franchise owners

Everything above came out of a filing. Doing it on your own numbers means the books have to produce the same lines: sales, wages, occupancy, fees and what is left, by location, every month. That is the work.

  1. The call takes thirty minutesYou describe the business and where the numbers are letting you down. We give you an expert view of your situation, and what we would start with. There is no pitch deck.
  2. We look at the fileYou give us read access to the books as they are. We come back with what is wrong, what it will take to fix, and whether the answer is bookkeeping, controller work, or something else.
  3. We send a written scope and a priceIt lists what we do each month, what you get, the date it lands and the fee. We agree it before anything starts, and it does not change unless you agree.
  4. We take over the books and close the first monthWe set up access and systems and enter the opening balances. The first close lands on the date in the scope, and every one after it does too.
