Pickleball Kingdom franchise at a glance

Pickleball Kingdom’s 2026 FDD, issued 20 April 2026, makes no financial performance representation in Item 19, so it gives no sales or profit figure. A Pickleball Kingdom franchise costs $998,800 to $2,474,297 to open, including the $60,000 initial franchise fee.

  • Pickleball Kingdom charges a 7% royalty and a 2% Advertising Fund contribution, 9%* of Gross Sales in all, both collected every two weeks by electronic transfer.
  • Pickleball Kingdom requires local advertising of at least $1,000 a month, $12,000 a year*, and may raise that minimum once a year by up to 10%.
  • Pickleball Kingdom had 21 franchised facilities and 1 affiliate-owned facility at the end of 2025; 20 franchised facilities opened during 2025 and 2 ceased operations.
  • Pickleball Kingdom reported 51 signed franchise agreements for facilities not yet open at December 31, 2025.
  • A Pickleball Kingdom franchise takes about 6 to 9 months from signing to opening, according to Item 11.

These figures come from Pickleball Kingdom's 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document, as the brand reported them, and were read by Averan Advisors. The 9% is the 7% royalty plus the 2% Advertising Fund contribution. The $12,000 a year is the $1,000 monthly local advertising minimum times 12.

  1. Item 19 contains no financial performance representation. The franchisor states that it does not make representations about future or past financial performance and does not authorize its staff to make any. A buyer of an existing facility may be given that facility’s actual records.
  2. The two facilities that ceased operations in 2025 were both in Texas and had the same owners. Exhibit E lists the Plano and Dallas locations, each owned by Daniel and Amy Jenkins. Item 3 says the Plano franchise closed on September 25, 2025, and that the franchisor sued; a settlement dated March 12, 2026 provided for $164,062.50 to be paid to the franchisor.
  3. The local advertising minimum can rise 10% a year. At the maximum increase each year, $12,000* becomes $13,200*, $14,520*, $15,972* and then $17,569* in the fifth year. The Advertising Fund contribution can also be raised, to no more than 4% of Gross Sales.
  4. Leasehold improvements are the largest line in the cost to open. They run $403,000 to $1,169,997, which is 40.3%* of the low total and 47.3%* of the high one. The high estimate includes $300,000 for a full mezzanine; the low estimate includes $28,000 for a raised viewing area.
  5. Franchised facilities went from 3 to 21 during 2025. Twenty opened and none was terminated, not renewed, reacquired or transferred. The affiliate-owned facility in Chandler, Arizona, open since May 2022, stayed the only one not franchised.

Run your own numbers.

The Franchise Numbers Check runs the same checks on your own numbers. It scores where you stand and compares you with Item 19 of your brand’s FDD. It works out what one location earns and spends, and builds a 13-week cash forecast. It also checks whether you are ready to open another one. It is free and it runs in your browser.

Where these figures come from

Every figure here comes from Pickleball Kingdom Franchising, LLC’s 2026 FDD and is unaudited by us. We are unaffiliated with the brand. Calculations of our own are labeled where they appear. The figures describe past performance at other businesses and are not a projection of yours. This page is an educational summary. It is not an offer to sell a franchise, and it is not financial, legal or tax advice. Pickleball Kingdom is a trademark of its owner. How Averan reads a Franchise Disclosure Document.

How Averan works with Pickleball Kingdom franchise owners

Everything above came out of a filing. Doing it on your own numbers means the books have to produce the same lines: sales, wages, occupancy, fees and what is left, by location, every month. That is the work.

  1. The call takes thirty minutesYou describe the business and where the numbers are letting you down. We give you an expert view of your situation, and what we would start with. There is no pitch deck.
  2. We look at the fileYou give us read access to the books as they are. We come back with what is wrong, what it will take to fix, and whether the answer is bookkeeping, controller work, or something else.
  3. We send a written scope and a priceIt lists what we do each month, what you get, the date it lands and the fee. We agree it before anything starts, and it does not change unless you agree.
  4. We take over the books and close the first monthWe set up access and systems and enter the opening balances. The first close lands on the date in the scope, and every one after it does too.
