What is Intuit Enterprise Suite?
By Scott Engler · Averan Advisors · Updated 3 October 2026
Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES) is a cloud accounting system that Intuit launched in September 2024. It runs on the same platform as QuickBooks Online and uses the same screens. It adds tools for companies that own several legal entities, track many locations or projects, or need more than the 25 users QuickBooks Online Advanced allows.
What IES adds to QuickBooks Online
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Several entities in one login | Each legal company keeps its own books, and all of them share one login and one list of customers, vendors and accounts. |
| Intercompany transactions | A sale or loan between two of your companies is entered once. IES records both sides. |
| Eliminations | When IES adds your companies together, it removes the sales and loans between them so the combined totals only show business with outsiders. Accountants call this an elimination. |
| Consolidated reports | One profit and loss statement and one balance sheet for all of your companies combined. |
| Dimensions | Tags such as location, department or project that you attach to each transaction. Intuit says reports can use up to 20 of them. |
| Job costing | Budgets compared with actual costs for each job, and work-in-progress reports that show what has been billed against what has been spent. |
| Payroll, payments, bill pay and time tracking | These run inside the same system and post to the books directly. |
Intuit sells versions of IES for construction, professional services, financial services and nonprofits. The construction version was in open beta in 2026.
What changed in the Winter 2026 release
Accounting Seed lists these additions in the Winter 2026 release. Bills and other transactions can now go to several approvers at the same time. There are five new consolidated reports. IES can process a batch of bank feed transactions at once with its AI tools. It added connections to HubSpot, Salesforce, Gusto, Hubstaff and Clockify.
What IES does not include
TechnologyAdvice's June 2026 review lists three inventory tools that IES does not have. It cannot track items by serial number or lot number, it has no barcode scanning workflow, and it cannot build finished products from component parts. QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Platinum and NetSuite both have these tools. A company that assembles products from parts should check its inventory needs against IES before it signs.
How Intuit sells IES
Intuit does not publish a price list. A sales representative quotes each company based on how many entities, users and add-ons it needs. Intuit gives up to 60% off the list price when a ProAdvisor accountant sets up the subscription. Companies moving from QuickBooks Desktop get the migration included, which Intuit values at $9,000. The IES pricing guide has the estimates.
Common questions
Is Intuit Enterprise Suite the same as QuickBooks Online?
No. IES is a separate product that runs on the same platform. Intuit says a QuickBooks Online user will find the same navigation and settings in IES.
Is Intuit Enterprise Suite an ERP?
Intuit calls IES an ERP, which stands for enterprise resource planning, a system that runs accounting and other operations in one place. IES covers accounting, payroll, payments, time and project costing. It has fewer inventory and manufacturing tools than NetSuite.
When did Intuit Enterprise Suite launch?
Intuit launched IES in September 2024.
