Discovery Map figures from the FDD
Discovery Map franchisees averaged $58,171 of sales in the fiscal year to 30 September 2025, with a median of $53,210, according to Item 19 of Discovery Map’s 2026 FDD, issued 1 December 2025. The 102 in that group are 88%* of Discovery Map’s 116 locations. Fees paid to Discovery Map come to about 13.8%* of sales.
Discovery Map’s 2026 FDD estimates in Item 7 that opening one Discovery Map location costs $29,250 to $36,300, including the $25,000 initial franchise fee.
At the Discovery Map average of $58,171 of sales a year, the 10% royalty comes to about $485* a month and the 1% brand fund to about $48* a month.
